This has been a very eventful week! We tried to get as much done on Monday-Wednesday as we possibly could because we new that Thursday was going to be completely dedicated to feeding 80 hungry missionaries. The elders were true to their word, and pulled it all together. From finding turkeys in a country that doesn't do turkey, to having enough mashed potatoes, they pulled it all off. And it was delicious. Sure, I would have liked to have some cranberry sauce, but overall it was a hit.

Friday was a day of catching up so that we could have all day Saturday to not worry about the office (only partially successful). Friday night was the usual institute craziness. We usually get to bed around Midnight on Fridays.

Saturday, we went to a professional Soccer game between Barcelona and Las Palmas. It was held in the Olympic stadium, and was quite the fun event. Lots of noise, lots of passionate fans, and a lot of fun. It was different from any major sporting event that I have ever been to. Usually, you have to drive to the event, find a parking place, and then walk to the stadium. Here, they don't even have a parking lot of any size at all, and so EVERYONE has to rely on public transportation to get them close enough to walk, or they just walk all the way from home. The Olympic stadium is up on a high hill at the edge of town behind what used to be the royal palace (now a museum). There are hundreds of stairs to get up there, and so we got our own workout done along with thousands of our closest friends! The game was fun except Barcelona lost 2-1.

Last night Brenda found some Christmas decorations here in the apartment, and so we have a cute little Christmas tree and some other decorations to help get us into the holiday spirit. I can't believe that it is already December! On the 12th we will have been out for 4 months. Time is flying by. Just hope I can keep what's left of my hair!

We love you all and hope that you had as wonderful a Thanksgiving as we did. I am grateful for my Sweetheart, and the fact that we get to be mission companions. What could be better than that? I hope that we can all really focus on the Savior during this special time of year, and know that He lives and loves us all! We love you!
